We offer four things that all get called paint work, and picking the wrong one is the most common way to overspend. Wash and wax is basic exterior maintenance and does not include tire or plastic dressing. Clay bar and wax is the complete exterior version, a full decontamination with tires dressed and plastics shined, and it is what most vehicles want between coatings. Paint correction is machine work that removes defects: single stage clears most swirl marks and light scratches, dual stage cuts and polishes for the heavier oxidation and deeper scratches. Ceramic coating is protection, not repair, and it seals whatever condition the paint is in on the day it goes on, which is why correction comes first if there is anything to correct. A single panel polish exists for when one panel is the whole problem. If you tell us the vehicle, the condition and how long you plan to keep it, we will tell you which of those four is the honest answer.
These get used interchangeably in quotes and they are not the same thing. A carnauba wax is a natural product that sits on the clear coat, gives a warm gloss, and lasts weeks to a couple of months. A synthetic sealant is a polymer that bonds more tenaciously than wax and holds for several months. A true ceramic coating undergoes a chemical reaction with the clear coat as it cures, cross-linking into a bond, and that bond is what makes it semi-permanent rather than something that washes off gradually. Products described as ceramic-based wax, ceramic spray or ceramic-infused sealant use ceramic chemistry as an ingredient inside a fundamentally different product class, which is why they can cost a fraction of a coating and be honestly advertised. All three are the right answer for someone. The question that decides it is how long you are keeping the vehicle and how you wash it. Tell us those two things and we will tell you which one is worth your money, including when the cheapest option is the correct one.
Ceramic coating alone starts at $400 for cars and scales by vehicle size. Trucks and large SUVs run higher. Single stage paint correction is $300 to $425. Dual stage correction is $475 to $725. Most ceramic jobs combine correction and coating, with typical packages running $700 to $1,250 depending on vehicle size and correction level. We quote honestly after inspection. Same packages, same honest assessment, regardless of which Durham community you drive in from. Ceramic is a two-day appointment, so most customers drop off in the morning and pick up the vehicle the next day after the coating has fully cured.

The detailing done (interior and exterior) was absolutely flawless. I've never received such wonderful, friendly service. My car was previously smoked in, and it's impossible to tell. Windows, mats, leather seats, cloth interiors were all immaculate.
