Honest, up-front pricing for detailing, rust protection, ceramic coating, and paint correction. Every detailing package is priced by vehicle size, so here is what things actually cost at our Bowmanville shop and what moves the number up or down.
Every detailing price is set by vehicle size. Compact cars sit at the low end, while trucks, 3-row SUVs, and dualies sit at the top. Wash & Wax: $50 to $80. A full hand wash finished with a ceramic-based wax that protects the paint, glass, and wheels. Priced by size, from a small car up to an XL commercial van. Clay Bar & Wax: $140 to $200. A full exterior wash plus clay-bar decontamination to pull embedded grime out of the paint, finished with wax and dressed tires and trim. Interior Detail: $130 to $200. A complete interior clean: compressed-air blowout, full vacuum, every surface degreased and wiped, floor mats restored, and the glass cleaned. Interior Deep Clean: $180 to $350. Everything in the Interior Detail, plus hot-water extraction of the seats and carpets, steam cleaning, and leather conditioning for the deepest reset. Full Detail (interior + exterior): $180 to $280. Our most popular package: a full Interior Detail and a Wash & Wax in one visit. Most cars land around $210. Showroom Detail: $320 to $550. The full reset inside and out, an Interior Deep Clean paired with Clay Bar & Wax. Most cars land around $400.
Rust Check is a two-step, 100% oil-based system, never rubberized. The dripless Coat & Protect undercoat is included in the full service. Ultimate Rust Check (undercoat included): $140 to $200. The complete two-step oil treatment, with the drip formula worked into the body panels and cavities plus the Coat & Protect undercoat below. Priced by size and applied once a year. Dripless Coat & Protect undercoat (standalone): From $75. The undercarriage oil coat on its own, without the in-panel drip step. A good way to top up protection between full treatments. First-time drill charge: $10 one-time. A one-time charge that applies only on the first visit, and only if your vehicle needs new access holes. Every year after, we reuse the same holes at no charge.
These are quote-based after we see the paint. The prices below are the standard size-tiered range. Paint Correction (single stage): $300 to $450. A single-stage machine polish that removes most swirl marks and light scratches, roughly 60 to 70% of the surface defects. Advanced Paint Correction (dual stage): $500 to $700. A two-stage cut and polish for deeper defects and oxidation, removing roughly 85 to 95% of what is in the paint. Ceramic Coating: $400 to $550. A long-life ceramic layer that gives 3 to 5 years of hydrophobic protection. Includes clay preparation and a 24-hour cure in our shop. Single correction + Ceramic: $700 to $1,000. A single-stage polish to level the paint, followed by the ceramic coating sealed on top. Dual correction + Ceramic: $900 to $1,250. A full two-stage cut and polish, then the ceramic coating sealed over the corrected paint.
Add any of these to a package. These are the ones customers ask about most: Headlight Restoration: $90. We wet-sand the cloudy, oxidized layer off the lenses, polish them back to clear, and seal them with a UV coat so they stay that way. Valet Pickup & Delivery: $30. We pick your vehicle up and bring it back anywhere in the Bowmanville and Clarington area. Farther out is quoted on request. Engine Bay Cleaning: $85. A full engine-bay degrease, spray wax, rinse, and dry to clean things up under the hood. Pet Hair Removal: From $50. Priced by how much there is. A light shed is quick, while ground-in pet hair takes real time to work out of the fabric. Ozone Odour Treatment: $40. A 45-minute ozone treatment followed by an air-out. It neutralizes odours at the source instead of masking them. Salt Stain Removal: From $25 per footwell. We lift the white winter salt and calcium stains out of the carpet, priced per footwell.
Vehicle size: This is the single biggest factor. Every package is tiered by size, from small car up to XL commercial. A crew-cab truck or 3-row SUV has far more surface, glass, and cavity than a compact, so it costs more at the same service level. How dirty it is: Pet hair, ground-in road salt, spilled coffee, heavy oxidation, and years of neglect all add labour time. A tidy interior at the same tier costs less than one that needs a full reset. How deep you go: Wash & Wax versus Clay Bar & Wax, Interior Detail versus Deep Clean, single-stage versus dual-stage correction. Each step up removes more and takes more time in the shop, so it costs more. Add-ons: Ozone odour treatment, pet hair removal, engine bay cleaning, headlight restoration, and salt removal stack on top of the base package price. First Rust Check only: A one-time $10 drill charge applies only if your vehicle has no access holes yet. Returning vehicles reuse the same plugged holes every year, so there is no drill charge after the first visit.
