Pickering to Bowmanville is 30 minutes on the 401. Ceramic coating takes a full day plus a 24-hour cure, so most Pickering customers leave their vehicle overnight and pick it up the following morning. We are straightforward about what the job involves before you commit.
Pickering's proximity to Lake Ontario means vehicles deal with moisture and humidity that accelerates paint oxidation on top of the regular road salt exposure. Ceramic coating addresses both. Its UV-blocking and hydrophobic properties prevent oxidation and make salt cleanup easier. New vehicle owners in Pickering's growing neighbourhoods frequently choose ceramic coating to preserve their investment from the start, while older vehicle owners often opt for paint correction first to restore gloss before coating.
From Pickering, take the 401 East to the Liberty St exit in Bowmanville. Turn right onto Baseline Rd E. A straightforward 30-minute highway drive.
Pickering is at the practical western edge of where we serve, and the 30-minute 401 drive east is a real drive. We will not pretend otherwise. Most Pickering customers come for ceramic specifically because the package math works at a longer drop-off interval. Ceramic coating is a two-day commitment regardless of where you are coming from. The vehicle stays in the bay for 24 hours of cure time after the coating is applied. So whether you live in Pickering or down the street in Bowmanville, you are leaving the vehicle overnight either way. Once you accept that the appointment is overnight, the 30-minute drive to drop off and 30-minute drive to pick up is a one-time cost spread over three to five years of paint protection. Pickering Bay and west-shore vehicles dealing with lake-mineral exposure have the most to gain from ceramic, and most Pickering ceramic customers are repeat customers booking annually for new vehicles in the household.
The application itself is only part of the clock. The coating is wiped on and levelled panel by panel inside a working window measured in minutes per panel, which is why it is done under controlled lighting and not outdoors, and then it has to cure. A bonded ceramic needs a full cure cycle out of the rain before it sees weather, and manufacturers hold their durability ratings on the basis that this actually happened. A shop that hands the keys back the same afternoon and tells you the coating will finish setting as you drive is not curing it the way the product specifies. That is the practical reason a ceramic job here is a two-day booking rather than an appointment you wait for: the vehicle stays in the bay dry overnight, and if correction is part of the work, that is several more hours on the front end. Plan for the vehicle being off the road overnight, and if that is difficult, our valet pickup and delivery removes the drive from both ends.
Ceramic coating alone starts at $400 for cars and scales by vehicle size. Single stage paint correction is $300 to $425. Dual stage correction is $475 to $725. Most ceramic jobs combine correction and coating, with typical packages running $700 to $1,250 depending on vehicle size and correction level. We quote honestly after inspection. Pickering customers do the drive once, drop off in the morning, and pick up the vehicle the next day after the coating has fully cured. The drive is the trade-off, and we have customers from Pickering Bay, Bay Ridges, West Shore, Liverpool, and Amberlea who have been making it for years.
Pickering is the far end of our service area, about 30 minutes east on the 401 to the Liberty St exit, and a ceramic job already means the vehicle stays overnight for the cure. Two things make that a single trip instead of two. The first is valet pickup and delivery, a flat-rate add-on where we collect the vehicle from your home or workplace and return it when the work is finished, which removes the drive from your side entirely. The second is stacking the standalone services into the same booking rather than coming back for them: engine bay clean, headlight restoration, fallout removal and decal removal are all separate jobs that can run while the vehicle is already here. Tell us at booking what else you want looked at. Deciding at drop-off usually means the shop day is already scheduled around the coating and the extra work has to wait for another visit.

Had my car detailed here. They were super friendly and accommodating, and very understanding of the absolute mess my car was in. My car came back cleaner than when I bought it- not kidding. Highly recommend.
The detailing done (interior and exterior) was absolutely flawless. I've never received such wonderful, friendly service. My car was previously smoked in, and it's impossible to tell. Windows, mats, leather seats, cloth interiors were all immaculate.
