Professional oil-based undercoating in Bowmanville — Coat & Protect by Rust Check. Dripless, flexible, and never rubberized. From $75 standalone or included free in full Rust Check.
Coat & Protect is the oil-based undercoat component of the Rust Check system — a thick, vaseline-type oil product applied to the exposed undercarriage of your vehicle. It covers frame rails, crossmembers, suspension arms, brake lines, and floor panels with a continuous oil film that never dries, never hardens, and never cracks. It is available as a standalone service starting at $75 for cars, or included at no extra charge with a full Rust Check application.
This is not a rubberized undercoating spray. Rubber sprays dry, cure, and eventually crack — trapping moisture between the rubber and the metal, making corrosion worse. Coat & Protect stays flexible indefinitely, maintaining direct contact with metal surfaces at all times. It is the only type of undercoating we offer.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the difference between Coat & Protect and full Rust Check?
Coat & Protect is the undercarriage component only. Full Rust Check adds the penetrating drip formula that enters body cavities through access holes, treating hidden areas inside doors, rockers, and pillars. Full Rust Check is more comprehensive. Coat & Protect standalone is best as a supplemental treatment.
Will undercoating drip on my driveway?
Coat & Protect is dripless — you can park normally immediately. Full Rust Check includes penetrating drip oil that drips for 1-3 days through small body cavity access holes. Most customers park on the street or use a tarp for a few days after.
Can I get undercoating without full Rust Check?
Yes. Standalone Coat & Protect is available from $75 for cars. It covers the exposed undercarriage without the body cavity treatment. Good option for vehicles getting a top-up between annual Rust Check treatments.
When is the best time to book?
Fall — September through November — before the first heavy salt application of the season. Annual treatment maintains the best protection through Ontario winters. We offer undercoating year-round.
