RAM Truck Detailing

RAM truck owners know that the interior of a crew cab is more living room than vehicle, and they expect it treated that way. At Ultimate Detail & Rust Check in Bowmanville, our RAM truck detailing and Dodge RAM detailing packages cover the 1500, 2500, and 3500, addressing the actual size and condition of each configuration, from a working regular cab to a fully loaded crew cab with leather and wood trim.

RAM trucks are popular in Durham Region for both work and family use, and the interiors reflect that range: some are clean daily drivers, others are job site vehicles with heavy floor contamination. Our approach is the same regardless: compressed air blowout of every vent and crevice before vacuuming, complete surface degreasing, and attention to the details that separate professional detailing from a quick clean. RAM 1500 Classic interiors are typically more straightforward than the Premium and Limited configurations, which have more surface variation and material types that require appropriate care. We price by configuration and condition honestly.

RAM truck Full Detail from $200. Crew cab from $240. 3500 Dually from $260.

RAM 1500 Crew Cab Cabin: Closer to a Living Room Than a Truck

RAM 1500 crew cab interiors, especially the Limited and Longhorn trims, are some of the most material-rich cabins in the truck market. Real wood trim, genuine leather, suede headliners, and acres of soft-touch surfaces. Cleaning a Limited or Longhorn requires care that a base Tradesman does not. We identify the trim level on every RAM during the bay walk-through and match the product set to it. Real wood trim cleans with woodgrain-appropriate product, never general-purpose cleaner. Suede headliners get vacuum and brush only, no wet cleaning. Genuine leather gets full conditioning on Interior Deep Clean and Showroom tiers. The pricing is the same as F-Series ($240 for crew cab Full Detail) because the labour time is similar even though the material care is different.

RAM 2500 and 3500 Heavy-Duty Reality

RAM HD 2500 and 3500 trucks come in two distinct populations: trade-work trucks (typically Tradesman, SLT, or Big Horn trims) and family-haulers (often Laramie or Limited trims with leather and chrome). The trade trucks come in with heavy floor-mat soiling, work-boot grit ground into the carpet, and tool-bag residue on rear seat cushions. The family-hauler 2500s and 3500s come in much cleaner but with more material variety: leather, wood, chrome, and (on the dually fenders) more body surface to wash. We treat both populations with the same compressed-air-first interior process. The exterior wash takes longer on duallys because of the extra fender area.

Bed Cleaning, RAMBox, and What We Cover

RAM bed cleaning is included in Full Detail and Showroom Detail at no additional charge. Bed liner (factory drop-in or spray-in) gets a sweep, scrub, and wipe-down. RAMBox storage compartments get vacuumed inside and wiped clean, which is a step that quick-wash shops typically skip. Tonneau covers cleaned in place. Tailgate exterior gets the same paint-care treatment as body panels (clay bar on Showroom, ceramic-based wax on Full Detail). RAM Multifunction tailgate (with the split barn-door design) gets attention to the sealing flanges where road grit accumulates.

How It Works

  1. Trim-level identification: Tradesman, Big Horn, Laramie, Limited, Longhorn, and TRX have different cabin material profiles. We identify trim level during the bay walk-through and match cleaning product to wood, suede, leather, and soft-touch surfaces.
  2. Compressed air through cab: Crew cab vent vanes, seat tracks, console seams, glove box hinges, and rear floor-mat grooves blown out before vacuum. Especially important on Limited and Longhorn trims where trim seams hide debris.
  3. Mats out, two-row vacuum: Floor mats out and washed separately. Crew cab gets a heavy-debris vacuum pass on both rows, then a fine-debris pass focused on seat seams, dash crevices, door pockets, and rear bench gap.
  4. Material-specific surface care: Wood trim cleaned with woodgrain product. Suede headliner vacuumed and brushed, no wet cleaning. Leather conditioned on Interior Deep Clean and Showroom. Chrome polished. RAMBox interiors vacuumed and wiped.
  5. Bed and exterior wash: Bed cleaning included. Body wash with truck-appropriate product. Dually fender area gets extra time. Wax application varies by package. Final glass and exterior trim pass.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does RAM truck detailing cost in Bowmanville?
RAM 1500 regular cab Full Detail: $200. RAM 1500 Quad/Crew, RAM 2500/3500 Crew Full Detail: $240. RAM 3500 Dually Full Detail: $260. Showroom Detail: $360 to $450 across the same tiers. Wash and Wax: $70.
Do you handle the wood trim and suede headliners on Limited and Longhorn trims?
Yes. Real wood trim on Laramie Longhorn and Limited gets cleaned with woodgrain-appropriate product, never general-purpose cleaner. Suede headliners get vacuum and brush only because wet cleaning damages suede. We identify the trim level on every RAM during the walk-through and match product accordingly.
Do you clean the RAMBox storage compartments?
Yes, every RAM detail. RAMBox interiors get vacuumed and wiped clean. The seals around the box lids get attention to the gritty road residue that accumulates there. This is a step quick-wash shops typically skip but customers notice when it has been done properly.
Can you handle a contractor RAM 2500 or 3500 with heavy work soiling?
Yes. Trade trucks are about 40 percent of our RAM detail volume. The fix for heavy soil is usually Showroom Detail at $450, which adds hot water extraction across both crew-cab rows plus full mat power-wash. We do not charge extra for heavy soiling, the cabin-size tier covers the work.
How long does a RAM detail take?
Regular cab RAM 1500 Full Detail: 4 to 5 hours. Crew cab RAM 1500 or RAM 2500/3500 Full Detail: 5 to 6 hours. RAM 3500 Dually Full Detail: 6 to 7 hours. Showroom Detail adds 1 to 2 hours per tier. Same-day in most cases if booked in advance.
Will you ceramic coat my RAM truck?
Yes. RAM ceramic coating starts at $500 (regular cab) and runs to $700 (3500 Dually) for single-stage. Pricing is quote-only because final cost depends on paint condition and whether correction is needed. Call 905-439-2338 for an honest quote in the bay.
